We were so privileged to take a trip to see our SEAL ministry partners in Nepal. We are glorifying God for the work He is doing at the Leadership Training Centre and the orphanage. We are very proud of the men and women who are working diligently to serve the Lord with the calling God has placed on their lives. They were excited for us to meet new people and see graduates from last year. One alumni traveled two days to meet us in Dharan. Please pray for Prakesh. He is reaching the unreached Rai people in his village for the Lord. He serves wholeheartedly and smiles constantly.
Our trip this past month was three-fold. First, we graduated 15 young men and women from the Leadership Training Centre. We now have 30 men and women with a gospel momuntem to multiply disciples in the Himalayas.
Our second agenda item was to visit our orphanage. Pastor Jeeban and his wife Dipti are doing a fantastic work. They currently care for twenty-two children. We were so proud of their growth in leadership of how they desire to expand the orphanage while pastoring the local church. I have always encouraged the our team not to see a problem as a road block, but to see the challenge as an opportunity to grow oneself. Please pray for the construction of our facilities. Since the start of the orphanage, our facilities have been extremely modest. All of our facilities are simple bamboo structures. The new plans will not only allow us to expand the orphanage and accommodate more children, it will also provide a more safe, hygenic environment for them to be raised. We have raised $8,000 of the $40,000 needed to finish this project.
Our third reason was to connect with the men who have graduated and moved on to begin discipleship in their unreached villages. These men are doing very well. They are thrilled to report back on the growth of the people they are reaching. The goal is for their in-home Bible study to grow into a chapel and eventually become a church. Lord willing, we will plant one church in all 75 districts of Nepal.
It was such a blessing to have SEAL Network Team from China join us in Nepal. Peter brought eight young people from the ministry there to be a part of this unforgettable week. It is rewarding to see the missions DNA that is being infused into our teams.
